Operation Backstage ~ A tour behind the scenes
Aligned with 3rd Grade Literacy Standards, Operation Backstage is a field trip designed to explore how key details in a story are realized on stage through the technical theatre: set design, costumes, make-up, lighting, sound and directing. Children interact with Playtime Poppy crew members to explore a specific theme from each production. At interactive stations, children are encouraged to ask questions, make connections to other areas of learning, visualize, and demonstrate understanding through creative expression.
