Mindy Fiala-Leaven grew up in Cedar Rapids and has been involved in theatre since high school. You will rarely see her onstage as she prefers to hide backstage or in the booth. Mindy graduated from Jefferson High School where she was a member of Thespian Troupe 561 and she holds a degree in Technical Theatre from Cornell College. She currently works in higher education but has continued to be involved in productions and with theatre organizations across the community. Her focus has recently shifted to theatre education and, for this reason, she is excited to be joining the Playtime Poppy Children's Theatre board!
